Hwy.12 West

but... we'll buy the story - everytime!

SNAZZY!
Crossing Lolo Pass at only 5,233' evelvation - caused us to expect less than we got... Hwy. 12 is a winding beautiful highway that is unexplainable ... you must explore it for yourself. A truly exceptional drive & our Corvettes loved it!

The Dalles & Home

Traveling along the Columbia River
to The Dalles was an exceptional experience...
Once in The Dalles, we shopped and went to a
50's Joint for lunch to eat home grown, giant
sized onion rings. Margie & Don loved it!

And Chris & Teri shakin' up the milk shakes!

Meeting back at the Doughnut Company in town, we left for an adventure through Oregon's beautiful inland back country.

Hwy. 197 & 97 is an amazing drive through fishing communities and unforgetable town-sites.

Jen & Pen(our babies) Our last night found us at The Best Western Hotel in LaPine, Oregon. Hot Tubbin' -Swimmin', A & W Rootbeer Floats - for everyone!

The next morning we met for a great breakfast -- put on by the hotel -- and then we headed home - stopping in Mt. Shasta for a great Mexican Lunch. Saying Good Bye to each other, brought to mind, how fortunate we are, to have been able to spend this time together. ***As David pointed out, we cruised 8 States: including - The State of California, The State of Nevada, The State of Idaho, The State of Wyoming, The State of Montana, The State of Washington, The State of Oregon and the State of Confusion - and every mile we were happy driving Corvettes!
